There are three bigger lakes on the northern units located above Hwy 82 in Fannin County. Totally different ecosystem in the northern units than the Blackland Prairie of the lower Ladonia Units. Keep looking! The more you know, the more you see and the more you see, the more you know.

Today, I posted the six cocoon nest on BugGuide and got a quick response. One of the experts, said it might be a Pebble Bee’s nest (Dianthidium). They are in Texas. And it sure looks similar to mine.
