Fungi is everywhere. And some are growing really large. Jeanne had one that was ten inches across at her house. I have some eight inchers that look a bit like pancakes. Keep looking!
This morning I looked at a couple of the specimens I collected yesterday morning. You may find an ick factor but it is really fascinating actually. It was pretty darn cool! I found more on my dung sample, but that will have to wait for another post. Keep looking!

I believe we have had enough rain for a week or two. Mushrooms should be very happy. It looks like we are going to be hot, sticky and I bet plenty of mosquitoes too. We didn’t get near the amount of rain as many in the area got. We got a total of .68″ today….
