It was cold this morning. We got down to 37 degrees…brrr. But maybe even colder the next couple of days. I wonder if it will be the last frost. It certainly was a great day to be hunting fossils. Judy and I use to go all the time some 15+ years ago. Maybe we should start again. 🙂 The formation is called Duck Creek. The bark of this grapevine was different looking. Nodules on limestone rock. Nice burl! This fallen tree had an interesting twist in the trunk!
