This is Sida – Sida abutifilia. Tiny flower, only about 1/2” across. It likes my limestone gravel driveway and it opens in the afternoon.

These are egg casings of some unknown critters. I’m trying to raise them to find out what they are. Found on the LBJ National Grasslands. This is what an individual of one of the above egg casing looks like under the compound scope at 400X Update: 9-25-2020. I now believe these are Horse or Deer…
