Swaying

On this trip, we found so many treasures. So in this post and probably several more posts, I will share some of the many other treasures we found while in Fannin County.

On Tuesday (March 29th), the park ranger at Bonham SP came by to warn us the impeding storm that might hit around midnight. The wind had started to pick up. And we took an after supper walk at the park.

The cedars did as much talking as the above trees. It really was fascinating. Furthermore, we were keeping a close watch in case any branches might fall.

We were on the Lake Trail with a goal of getting closer to the beaver lodge!

Then the sun light broke through at the horizon!

It kept getting more spectacular as the minutes ticked by!

Closer!

The sun became even brighter! It was like a volcano!

The rays danced across the lake! What a awesome sunset!

This strange hanging knobby reminded Jeanne of an uvula. The thingy that hangs down at the back of your throat between the tonsils.

On the way back to the campsite were these rocks that lined the roadside. Not much to look at, right?

Until I shone the UV light on them! More tomorrow!
