Finally in this post, we make it to the grotto :-). And we are not disappointed with the wonders!
Under the ledge, the algae crust has many colors!
This section of algae was orangey!
I believe Jeanne collected some of this moss. A lot of the light color on the moss is sand.

We made it! The grotto!
The Maidenhair Ferns are brown now, but will liven back up. This is not the end of the Dixon trip. We still have a ways to go!
