Fungus and flowers!

Another warm day. Counting down for the days to cooler weather. 🙂
Gracie stood in the water for a good 6-8 minutes. She wants the cooler weather too.
Thiers’ Lepidella (Amanita thiersii
Closeup. It was pretty white and the surface had a moist feel.
A polypore, a Ganoderma species. Looks like a bowtie I thought.
Underside view of the same kind as above.
Peeling puffball (Lycoperdon marginatum

Flat Crep (Crepidotus applanatus) I am not certain on this ID

another underside of same
Partridge Pea (Chamaecrista fasciculata)
Dayflower (Commelina erecta var angustifolia) Mine are really small for some reason this year, just have to bend down closer to see.
Greeneyes or some call it the Chocolate flower (Berlandiera betonicifolia) With all the rain we have had this year they are still blooming. Bet they would make a good flower in a garden.
Brown Marmorated Stink bug (Halyomorpha halys)
Harvesters Ants. Still out and about but as soon as the temperature goes below 56 degrees, it was my observation that they stayed below ground till it warmed up again.
Gray Hairstreak  I have not seen a lot of them this year 🙁
Arboreal Orbweaver (Neoscona crucifera) female  I have seen quite a few of them this year.

I don’t know what kind of eggs these are but I brought them back to hatch. Hope they do. I keep looking on the Eastern Red Cedar to find something cool beside bagworms. Maybe this is my cool thang!

Looking out!
