Do you have those moments when you wondered why you hadn’t seen someone in awhile?
The robins have been in our woods thick the last few weeks.
Many of the robins were coming to the obelisk for a drink!
Flying in from all directions!
The freshly eaten hackberry seed scat was all about!
Every where I looked seeds were on the rocks, the ground, and in the water. We love that the hackberry tree is a good provider for our robin friends.
Then I out loud I mentioned to Jim this morning, where had the Cedar Waxwings been? They quite often flock with the robins. Well then just like that, there they were!
Glad the robins and waxwings are back. Looking forward to them showing up here. Whale story is a whale of a good one
Always!
They are good neighbors, both the birds and the hackberries!
For sure!
Hooray for waxwings! Such elegant looking birds.
That’s a good description!
