Goodness another year has almost passed on. Here are a few pics from over past several days which includes foggy mornings and sunny days.
What a Pocket Gopher had an egg? Sure looked like it. LOL.
Ripping it apart further it looked to be a fungus. Perhaps one of the orange stinkhorns. So it must of just been unlucky to be in the Pocket Gopher’s home.
A yummy mushroom! Well some friends thought so. LOL.

Do you recognize this bud? It was early before the sun was shining on it.
Then when the sun shines, the Spring Beauty (Claytonia virginica) spreads its petals! And yes they have started sprouting! So why does this plant gets its common name. Perhaps wishful thinking of folks?
