Last Stuff

Well not the last stuff ever. This is only the last treasures from the Caddo NG trip last week. LOL. Heck we will be heading back again next week for more surveying! ๐Ÿ™‚

A Wheel Bug (Arilus cristatus) nymph on Russel’s Henbit/Redpurple Beebalm (Monarda russeliana)!

The Giant Bark Aphid (Longistigma caryae) was semi-cooperative. It did not fly away and I was able to gently grab its wings to re-position it on my leg for the shot. And yes it was giant at almost a centimeter (0.39″)
A tiny red cup fungus!
Pulling it up to see what it was growing on, hmmmm it looked like a tiny fairy pipe. ๐Ÿ˜‰
Fungus Bugs!

Gotta love the crazy formed trees!

Little Wood Satyr (Megisto cymela) was a hard one to shoot as it was very bouncy.

So much fun at Caddo NG! Resting up then back again in a few days…yahoo!
