So a lot of folks worry about the aesthetics of the tent. Additionally the leaves that are eaten leave the tree bare. However the leaves will grow back as nature intended. Moreover for the bird lovers, many will provide food for nestlings and adults.

The tent caterpillars on our plums in the country never slowed the plums down. We always had lots of fruit and they are very pretty caterpillars. Glad you moved them.
