Finished

Every spare moment since summer I had been editing the second edition of my wildflower book. And now North Central Texas Wildflowers, Second Edition is finished! The paper book will be available for purchase on Amazon on Monday, December 11, 2023. However the pdf is now available for free.

The second edition has 427 species and 1703 photos. That is 83 additional species and 406 more photos!

Late last night UPS delivered my copies I had ordered from Amazon. So if I have a copy on hand you can purchase directly from me, but only in person. I do not plan to put any in the mail. Yes I am lazy, but I will be happy to sell them to you at my cost. The shipping cost will vary with the size of my order. Or you can order directly from Amazon.
Front cover.

The back cover with Shirley featured! She is certainly missed.
Same format as the first edition. Additional page numbers and species number for your reference in the “Flora of North Central Texas” (FNCT). Also available online.
Another sample page. Of course you can view and download the whole book.

Featuring Shirley on the back cover was a no brainer. She had influenced and mentored so many of us. Thank you Shirley!

And a big thank you to my family for the suggestions and editing assistance!

And of course to my botany friends, thank you!
