Starting the day at dawn, the sunrise proved to be dramatic!
The sun was rising!
The clouds were moving in from the west! And I thought WOW!
It was awesome sunrise, though I doubt Gracie thought much of it. Or maybe she did 😉
Colors were changing fast. If this isn’t drama, I don’t know what is LOL.
Wimps! We knew it was going to be cold today as we headed to Caddo NG. Jeanne and I both were appropriately dressed, long johns and multiple layers. However as the sleet started to come down at the Bonham McDonald’s parking lot, we both agreed, let’s wait until later in the morning to start the survey on foot. We had not expected the sleet today. Like I said…wimps. A change of plan was definitely in order for now. So tomorrow’s post will be on the plan we followed.

Sure was surprising the sleet. Jim send me a text from home at about the same time as we were getting the sleet in Bonham.
