A short visit

Thursday (November 11th) we went to the grasslands for a short visit. Old Gracie could not go far, but she worn her smile the entire time. Like who wouldn’t if you get to visit the grasslands, right?

Prickly Pear cactus (Opuntia) and Whitlow Wort Whitlow Wort (Paronychia virginica)!

Plains Ladies-tresses (Spiranthes magnicamporum) is having a great year!

Bushy Bluestem is also doing good!

A very long beaked weevil paid us a visit! It is in the Nut and Acorn Weevils (Curculio).

Gracie was worn out and Briar decided to cool off. Don’t forget to wear your orange if your visit the grasslands!
