Splendid day

Another beautiful day and I got to spend the morning at the grasslands! It seems like it has been awhile since I have gone there so it was certainly nice to get back out there!

Acorns are starting to fall. Oh and before I forget we heard the FOS Northern Flicker today! A sure sign of fall!

A nice Western Leaf-footed Bug (Leptoglossus clypealis)! Love the zig-zags on its back!

Here are some oak galls. Amazing packages to hatch someone’s babies! Nature is grand!
