Sunshine is back!

Don’t get me wrong, I loved the rain we got, but it is always nice to have the sunshine back.

This is just the shell of a snail. The snail can not detach itself from the shell. In the winter, snails will go under the leaf litter or other nooks and crannies and seal up the opening on the shell to ride out the cold days. I found this website that tells more about snails by the Snail Wrangler.
Luna Moth cocoon.

Our 1.5 inches of rain filled our little pond again.
This was a tiny jelly fungus.

I found this orange fungus on a piece of rotten pine wood.
It started out mostly cloudy this morning.

The cirrus clouds were floating in the sky by mid-morning. Fair weather ahead!

Keep looking!
