Wow, the starry night patterning in that wood is awesome! And my first thought when I saw the photo of the tree with the bustle burl was that it is expecting LOL.
I also thought that deer rubbing the velvet off their antlers possibly damaged the undersides of the branches. They look lowcenough for the deer to reach.
That is too funny Suzanne!ππ we thought about that too about the deer, but what you canβt see in my photos is that some of the branches were too high. We also considered cows rubbing on them but likewise some of the branches were too high.

Expecting tree is funny. Could deer horns have cut the tree branches? Probably not. Love the starry night.
