Ending on a Sweet Note
The last day the attendees had thinned out. But we were certainly glad we didn’t cut it short.





On the last day, the presentations were about community & cultural engagement. And the Cherokee Township Garden Program and Heirloom Seeds was the only one with audience participation. 🙂 They were harvesting the corn.

I want a chickenthief. Almost funny about the water shifting the poles. Hard to believe.
Crazy how they could figure it out. And how little it takes
Really nice to have the Cherokee Tribe be able to visit! and I remember that delicious chocolate place!!
We also heard research about the Apache nation. That grad student was finding out about plant uses. Good talk too.
Big oaks were really wonderful. Almost as wonderful as going around a chocolate shop sampling to your hearts content.
