Hatched…

So don’t get too excited. It was not the vultures. ๐Ÿ™‚

A pair of Flowerpot Parasol (Leucocoprinus birnbaumii.) Love the pale lemon color!
To check further on the ID given by Seek, I checked MushroomExpert.com. So tentatively with the gills free from the stem I’m going with the Flowerpot Parasol.
Occasionally I see a snake like this Bull Snake that looks “wrinkled”. Perhaps there is a better word for this appearance, but I don’t know what it is. So if you know the right way to describe this, let me know. Thanks!
Ok, some of you may remember this little cocoon I found on May 30th. What was it? Well, I brought it home to find out.
Inside the cocoon were these tiny eggs. Next I placed it in a pill bottle and waited for them to hatch.
Something had hatched! Initially they started to scatter when I dumped them out. So they had to go for a chill. ๐Ÿ™‚
The little ones were less than a 1 millimeter.

A little bit closer.
You can sorta see that are two rows of eyes. Compound scope view.

Then I tried to count the eyes and their placement. However I had no luck. The most I can conclude is the spiderlings had two rows of eyes.

And I’m sure all the little toadlets will think the spiderlings are just the right sized for dinner. ๐Ÿ™‚
