Day 05 Trip

Wood’s Ear fungus (Auricularia). Wikipedia lists 6 species for North America.

Yesterday we did our first hike to Lake Eva! Amazing!

Seaweed!
Emily and I went kayaking!

This is the Tongass National Forest. It is a temperate rainforest!
Skunk Cabbage!
Dog Lichens (Peltigera)!
Amazing mosses too!
More lichens!
Many Peg Lichens (Cladonia)!

Shooting Stars (Primula)! These were pretty small. I would think half sized as ours in North Texas. And of course Shirley came to my mind. ☺️
