Can you find the beetle? The plant is Engelmann’s Bladderpod (Physaria engelmannii).
It had been 8 days since I had been here. This was my mission, keeping track of the Trout Lilies! First leaf was found.
I checked the ground temperature. I hope in the future this will perhaps give me a hint on when to expect their arrival to the surface.
Further along some of the Trout Lilies (Erythronium mesochoreum) were blooming! Yahoo!
My friends are back for the season! Yes, it was hard to pull myself away. However if I hadn’t pressing chores I would have stayed longer. Forty-five minutes was all I had time for.
You manage to find the beauty in everything
Thanks. Nature has it all😊
Really like the mosaic – perfect description.
Robin Kimmerer is so well spoken- the message so well thought out. Now need folks to listen.
Trout lilies, present and accounted for! Spring is truly here! ❤️
Great idea on the temperature reading! We got to see Dr Kimmerer speak last year and her talk was a real treat.
