A few more finds from the Sunday afternoon on the grasslands.
Near the Jack O’Lantern was a beautiful crusty shelf fungus!
Again, the Hairy Cap Moss (Pogonatum brachyphyllum). I can’t stop seeing them now. LOL
As we slowly walked up to a pond, a pair of Widgeons flew off!
It was a nice pond!
Bird tracks at the edge!
Duck feather!
Empty homes were among the finds!
Doesn’t this look like a Dr. Seuss character?
Likewise this also seemed to be straight from Dr. Suess. 😉
Of course, I figured that the above character probably lived here. LOL
