Milkweed fluff

Yesterday when I walked by some milkweed fluff/seed, I took some photos. Nothing unusual about that eh.

One shot!

Another angle. So the interesting thing I learned about the seed/fluff was this. When it blows away in the wind, it tends to land seed side down. Makes sense that the seed wanted to grab a foothold in the earth. Consequently that made it tough for me to get my shots. LOL. I ended up having to hold it.

So there was this whole pile next to the path yesterday afternoon. Furthermore, it was very fluffy.

However, this morning the pile looked different as seen in this photo. No longer fluffy. Moreover, I am not sure why. Was it the humidity, temperature, sunlight, time of day or something else? Maybe you have a theory?
