Today, I had four goals. First goal, was to go for a hike. That one was easy to accomplish.
To accomplish the first two goals, Jeanne and I met at the Garnett Preserve! One of my favorite places which I am sorry to say I had not been to it in awhile. Today, we were going to remedy both the hike (first goal) and to visit the Garnett Preserve (second goal). Check! Two more to go 🙂 This is a view near the gate, looking toward Muenster. Not visible in the photo, we can see the wind turbines in Muenster and to the east in Era as well. Perfect weather!
Third goal! So I wanted to see if the Cymopterus (Vesper macrorhizus ) was blooming yet. Sometimes, I have found the Cymopterus blooming as early as January 4th.
All the plants were fairly small yet.
Here we managed to find just one that had barely started. Therefore I will take that as a win. Third goal…check! Now the fourth goal was going to take longer. And I need to process my photos, hence to learn about the fourth goal, it will take a few posts to get there. LOL.
Keep looking!
The more you know, the more you see and the more you see, the more you know.
It looks beautiful as always out there.
Might make a good field trip for NPAT? Of course there is the Thomsen Foundation main place as well. Let me know, maybe we get something going. Contact me privately.
Keep us guessing eh? The view from there is breathtaking.
