Facing
A mostly dreary, windy, and cold day. On the bright side it could be colder like it was in Brookings, SD at -15F!
Hope those of you in southeast Texas survive the snow forecasted for your area tonight and tomorrow. 🤞🏼And it just pretty like it was here last week.

The energetic birds are the worst to photograph. I’ve had a few of those where by the time the camera takes the pic they have flown and you have a blur. Had fun with Cedar Waxwings at the birdbath this week. I posted one on FB where the north wind blew its topknot forward and called it “bad hair day”. It made me chuckle looking at it. Orange crowned Warbler is really hard to get it to sit still long enough for a shot.
The Ruby-crowned Kinglet is another in that group. And even harder to get the ruby part flared up. 🤷🏻♀️ makes it more sweet when you do get the shot. 😊
Beautiful start to the day for the patient photographer!
The color only lasted a minute or so at most. Just looked out the window at the right time…luck. 😊
It was a hot chocolate day. Love that seed library.
Yeah seed library is a great idea. Some regular public libraries are doing some things like that too. Maybe Decatur’s???
