Today features three photos from friends! So glad that they did.
Kathy captured these Leaf-footed Bugs, both the adult and various stages of the nymphs. Seems strange that they are at different stages in development. However I’m sure they know what they are doing. 😉 Maybe some kind of survival strategy of staggered broods? I was not able to find any info on it. If you know let us know in the comments.

Suzanne and Steve drove out to Aledo to get a view of A3 comet Thursday evening. The comet is getting fainter each day and binoculars or a scope is needed now. However the cell phone could still pick it up. Thanks Steve and Suzanne for the pic!

A bunch of leaf-footed bugs hatched on my eggplant and seem to be loving the aphids that are attracted to the plant. I wish I could find an eggplant tortoise beetle sometime…
Those sure are bu.py mushrooms all stuck together – just like poop!
We tried to see the comet but there are too many trees in thereby- glad to see the image here.

Keeping looking! You will find one I bet. Though I haven’t seen one in a while. But that maybe because the nightshade is about gone. 🙂
I’ve seen lots of butterflies lately. So happy after seeing very few all summer. Only one monarch today tho. Sweet dainty sulphur.
