The temperature was so nice. But if I had not made it back to the car I would have been a wet rat. LOL. However I think it was less than a tenth of inch.
So I waited about 20 minutes for it to stop.
Last week Jeanne had recorded 5 nestling ready to leave. Yep gone!

A quick look at the Buffalo Bur (Solanum rostratum ) revealed that someone had nibbled the flower!
Last week the nest had been finished. This week three pretty blue eggs!
Besides checking of the Crotons, I also checked the milkweeds.
No cats just scat!
So it wasn’t until I checked the photo that I could see three of them. I thought two looked like they had been in a fight?
