Ok, I did have a mission to Fossil Hill if you remember, Tiny Tim. 😉 And we were out about six hours that day.
Quite a few sprouts we had no clue to their identity like this one. However, the stubs of hairs were cute.
There are lots of rocks covered in lichens!
This little one however, we knew was a Euphorbia.
By now you probably figured that we had worn holes in our knees. But I did stand up to get a photo of this new Blackjack buds.
The catkins were hanging like yellow pearls!
Another little plant drew my attention, identity unknown. Never having seen Tiny Tim, I looked at every plant that had the succulent-like leaves like Tiny Tim.
We marked the spot if it had promise. We will go back to this area later.

In action! 🙂 We were in the powerline easement. A lot of the easement has tall grasses, but there are a few bare spots.
I hope you take a close look at the ground too for all the tiny cool plants!

It volunteered in the gravel path on the south side of my house. So I weeded around it. 😊
