Lichen Project:

I am currently collaborating with Dr. Claire Curry on an illustrated guide to lichens in North Texas. You can see photos (including of spores and chemical tests) and our preliminary specimen spreadsheet in our Open Science Framework project.

Narrow-leaf Morning Glory (Ipomoea shumardiana) Project:

I have been searching for new populations of the rare Ipomoea shumardiana in Wise, Montague, and Cooke counties. So far with the help of J.Erickson, we discovered in 2019 eight new locations in Montague and Cooke counties. This year (2020) on the LBJ National Grasslands, we located 8 new sites with over 700 plants!
